I bought this for daughter to help her wake up for school. She wanted one since she was going to kindergarten. Unfortunately the cord it came with does not stay secured. I'll be exchanging it so hopefully it won't happen again. I shouldn't have to worry about batteries if there's a cord.Likes: temp gauge, exterior colors for my kidDislikes: no way of knowing if the alarm is set, no obvious snooze button (is there a snooze button?!), very hard to set up, a kid would not be able to turn off the alarm.It also works as a night light, with soothing, changing colors.This product is very cute and my daughter loves it! However, any children's product should never have the tiny round flat batteries that small children could swallow. The bottom of the battery lid did not even have a screw to keep small children from getting into it and potentially swallowing the small batteries. If it was not for those batteries, I would have loved everything about this cute alarm clock for the v price. The display didn’t work out of the box AND the unit required two types of batteries and a plug in to the outlet. The display never worked so no idea if one can be used without the other… $$ down the drain and not worth the effort to return it.Cuts 9n and off by itself causing you to have to reset the time and date 3/4 times dailyThe song or tune lasts only 20 sec and isn't very loud. So it doesn't wake up my kid who is a deep sleeper...just me...to go wake up my kid.This clock is very cute and my 6 year old daughter absolutely loves it! However, the instructions are not easy to read. The font is tiny and blurry with poor English. It mentions the clock's features, but not how to turn them off/on. The clock itself seems cheaply made, but it's just fine for an older kid who won't be rough with it.Clock is cute, display is decent. But it is small and cheap. Definitely not worth $27 at all! There is no screw for the battery cover even though there is a hole for it. It doesn’t come with an AV cord, but it can be used with one. For $27 a cord should be included. Hopefully it lasts for a bit.I thought it would be larger. Also, as I paid extra, I thought these would include the electric cords to charge them. They did not come with them. That was very disappointing, as the same product was listed far cheaper through another company on Amazon. Since my granddaughter saw these, she wanted them! I was not impressed by the way it was listed...I thought that the cords were automatically included. This needs to be clarified in the advertising! So disappointing!I was disappointed with this purchase. It is very small and very light. The plastic buttons on the bottom are fragile I thought I was going to break them trying to set the time. Very tinyI was too hasty when I bought this, I should have read the reviews. It doesn't even come with an adapter. A cheap product. Not work the $28 I paid.
