I purchased this product so that my sight-impaired husband has a little bit of light in the bathroom late at night. It has helped enormously in that respect. Wonderful, too, that it has extra outlets in it. I am very pleased with the purchase.The light on these plugs are very bright. I cannot use them in a place where people see it from their bedroom because it really lights up. With that said, if you need to light up a bathroom or kitchen area this will certainly do the job.As the number of appliances in my kitchen grows so does the need for more outlets. This outlet extender is perfect for that and any other room in your home.Pros:-3-pronged outlets which means it is grounded-Night light turns off when light is detected. It can be set to stay on or off all the time.Cons:-Night light sometimes has strobe effect when light is detected.-Night light switch is in awkward spot that makes it hard to get to when something is plugged in above it.One suggestion is to make the extender a little smaller so that two extenders can be plugged into outlet at the same time.Overall great product that allows for more plugs and is well lit.I have these in multiple rooms in our house and I absolutely love the functionality of multiple outlets plus the night light that’s on it! Love!I love that these are light sensing to turn the light on and off, but that there's also the option to just switch it on or off. The light is the perfect brightness and not too harsh. I have other lighted outlet extenders and they all use a colored LED and it's awful. I would definitely buy these again.These are NOT very bright! Also, they should have put the sensor someplace else. It is at the bottom in the middle, so if you use the middle plug the cord covers it up (keeping the light on) or if you plug in something above (you have to plug this in the bottom of your outlet because otherwise it will cover up the bottom plug in so that you can't use it) again, the cord will cover the sensor. They also just seem cheap to me. I would not recommend. Note: If you do buy these make sure your outlet is a 3 prong!I needed a multi-plug but I also wanted a good nightlight for the bathroom and a hallway. These have been excellent. The right brightness to see but not blinding when it's dark. Work great.Just what I needed - night light AND 2 extra plugs for bathroom! I almost purchased one of the six outlet plates, but went with this after reading reviews for the other. This one is perfect for me, just plug it in and ready to go.
