These have solar powered well and come on at dusk and last almost all night. Great for outdoor decor pieces without having to think about them again. Was pleasantly surprised on the brightness of the candle since it’s solar powered.I let these charge for two days before turning them on. Only two of the four work. They don't stay on very long after sunset, and this is after charging all day in the direct sunlight of summer. I've had trouble with these before but I keep buying them because my wife likes them. I've had to purchase two packs of them in order to get 6 working candles. The description is "warm white" however the actual color is orange.Love the look and how well they charge in a partly shaded area! Buying more!These are pieces of junk. At least one light per pack just doesn't work, and then the battery lasts an hour or two at the most.Great item for the price! Put these outside in cute little mason jars and it’s hard to tell the difference between them and a real candle! They give off a soft illumination. Not too bright but definitely distinctive.They work thus the 2 star rating - but the white part is pretty high and too thick for most tea light holders. I bought them to put in a tin cup with a pumpkin face cut out for the outdoors. They do recharge, easy to turn on and are seemingly water proof since it rained and they still worked. All you can see is the flame when they are in a dark place - they do light up but there is no glow of light within the space.I REALLY LIKED THEM, BUT 2 STOPPED WORKING :(I put these on an outdoor fixture to look like candlelight on my patio!
