What I don't like. You should be able to dim the clock very low so you can read it any time of night. You can't. You have to hit the snooze button to read the time. In a compleatly dark room how do you know where the snooze button is. I paid almost $200.00 for this clock and it won't do what a $25.00 clock will do. Yes it has the night light which is great but that turns off after 20 min. If I wake up in the dark at 3am I can't see what time it is I can't see the clock at all its compleatly dark.Like everything but backlight. It's simple to set the alarm time and use (a HUGE plus!) and the alarm is plenty loud to wake him. The best part is that the alarm starts off softly and builds- so it doesn't scare him to death when it wakes him up. We have not had to use the mattress shaker (yet) but nice to know it's an option if we need it.We plan to but the compatible smoke detectors that connect to the alarm clock so we can be sure he'll hear them should they go off while he's sleeping (another concern).Not an inexpensive product!! But well worth the investment.Love this alarm clock. Very easy to use and set up. The bed shaker vibrates very strong on alarm and somewhat softer on the snoozes. I wear hearing aids and a sound sleeper. This alarm feature is what I have always needed. ThanksQuality of manufacturing is good, performance is below expectations.Not what I expected for the value i paid.These alarm clocks are like iPhones compared to a tin can. Beautifully designed and nice to look at. Easy to use too. Liberty Co. is very helpful.ok
