Very disappointed the color doesn’t even go half way up the base.Love that the base can be illuminated, if desired. When watching TV, I like a little light in the room, but not a bright bulb. This lamp is perfect for that. It’s also beautiful, seems very well made, and came perfectly packaged.these are stunning and are a great focal point in my living room. they are not only visually interesting but they look like hand blown european glass. the light inside the lamp base was both unexpected and also another point of visual interest. i also got them when they were running a special for 99 each. wow...i've seen lamps like this online and in stores for upwards of $500. so very happy with the purchase.I saw something similar to these vases at another company so I searched Amazon for them.
